BALLET: Ballet is a type of theatrical dancing having a definite technique. There are five different Ballet Schools (Russian, French, Cecchetti, British, and American). Your child will be exposed to steps from each of these schools, however, we use mostly the Cecchhetti and French Schools. Ballet is the basis for all dance forms and should be taken to achieve the greatest benefit in other classes.

45 MIN. CLASS- (TEENS-ADULTS)
PRE POINTE: This is a summer class. A child must be 11 years of age (by Sept. 1st of year she would start Pointe) and have 3 consecutive years of ballet. This class is taken in ballet slippers and the student is given invaluable work for strengthening ankles, increasing arch in foot, and ‘centering’ (a must to able to go en pointe’).

POINTE: Ballet done in Pointe shoes. The student is required to take ballet with this class.

JAZZ: Jazz dance is the one form of dance that is constantly changing. It is a type of theatrical dancing used in our present-day stage, television, and movie musicals. It has its own technique and form of movement stemming from many other forms of dance such as ballet, tap, modern, and ethnic.

45 MIN. CLASS- (TEENS-ADULTS)
MODERN: A style of theatrical dancing that is not as restrictive as ballet; movements are expressive of feelings
30 MIN. CLASS- (TEENS-ADULTS)
.LYRICAL: A form of dance that expresses deep personal emotion or observations, ballet based.
30 MIN. CLASS- (7YRS. +)
HIP-HOP/JAZZ: A dance of great control using all parts of the body from head to feet. Hip Hop/jazz is a class provided for the young dancer that wants the fun of hip hop but needs the benefit of technique received in jazz.
30MIN. CLASS- (5-7YRS.)
HIP-HOP: Mainly street-style dance. It is the ‘new school’ dance form of break dance and funk and is influenced by modern culture and music
30 MIN. (CLASS-8YRS. -TEENS)
HIP-HOP BOYS: Same description but geared towards boys instead of girls. Also can include popping exaggerated body and joint movements) and possibly some form of breakdancing.
30 MIN. CLASS- (8YRS. +)
HIP-HOP ADULT: Same moves (when our bodies allow). This class is a great deal of fun not to mention the benefit of exercise.
30 MIN. CLASS - (21 YRS. + exceptions made at teacher's discression)
COMPETITION TEAM: Any form of dance. Teams will depend on teachers. The students are put on specific teams according to the teachers advisement. These teams spend a great deal of time practicing. Student must also take the class as well as their time at team. This commitment is not to be taken without a great deal of thought. Tryouts will be late summer. This is a lot of fun for the students, however a lot of hard work. If interested please check appropriate box on registration form.

ACROBATICS: Acrobatic dancing is composed of balance, contortion, or aerial tricks, combined with any form of dance-ballet, jazz, modern-and set to music. It will provide self-confidence, balance flexibility, and meuor-muscular coordination, strength and endurance. It is sometimes described as "gymnastics floor with other forms of dance".

ACRO/POM: Class uses the same format as above but with pom poms for a fun effect as recital nears. Student learns how to hold poms, and have control with their arms.
45 MIN. CLASS- (7 YRS. +)
POM: Use of poms with dance for the entire class. Dance is included as well.
30 MIN. CLASS- (7 YRS. +)
GYMNASTICS: FLOOR- No parallel barre- not equipment. Strictly floor gymnastics using a students momentum and strength to do these tricks.
45 MIN. CLASS (7 YRS. +)
BALLROOM: This class is for couples, or groups. Learn the basics or go further. Some of the dances you will enjoy are the foxtrot, cha cha, waltz, etc.
1 HR. CLASS (TEENS-ADULTS)
CHEER/TUMBLING CLASS: This class will focus on the skills needed to be a cheerleader. This will include cheer motions, jumps, stunting techniques, and a cheer routine. These will be taught in consideration with the student's age and or experience.
TUMBLING: This class focuses on the tumbling skills that are apart of cheerleading. This class will also spend a great deal of time working on the skills needed for front and backhandsprings. These two classes may be combined depending on the number of students interested.
45 MINUTE CLASS (7YRS. +)
CREATIVE MOVEMENT: This class has of all kinds of activities. We work with musical instruments, colors, shapes, floor stretching, obstacle courses etc. Motor skills and balance are also a goal.
30 MIN. CLASS (2-3YRS.)
FITNESS: Stretching, aerobics, kickboxing and dance all forms of exercise found here. No chance of getting bored.
45 MIN. CLASS (TEENS-ADULTS)
TAP: Tap is composed of rhythmical sounds made by movements of the feet. A student will learn to count music and make sounds with the beat of the music. Tap provides the student with the sense of rhythm, timing and phrasing. Our studio uses the l Glberttrainingsystem.
30 MIN. CLASS (5-ADULT)
TECHNIQUE: This class strengthens the dancers ability to do turns, leaps, kicks etc. Highly recommended if the student is interested in furthering dance ability or interested in dance teams(in or outside studio) or cheerleading.
